I believe Sorin’s origin was – we’re going to a gothic horror plane; it would be cool to have a vampire Planeswalker. Let’s craft the world to make that possible. (Undead things can’t hold a spark, but the vampires on Innistrad aren’t undead.) Happy Belated Birthday!
